Rookiefeed

CarrierOk vs Rookiefeed

Reviewed · Numbers are Rookiefeed analysis as of , updated daily

CarrierOk is a carrier-intelligence platform covering every FMCSA registrant, with safety, fraud signals, monitoring, an API and a new-entrants directory. Rookiefeed does one job: a 7am email and CSV of every carrier granted authority the day before, with contacts and insurer. If you vet carriers as well as prospect them, CarrierOk does more. If you just want the daily list, Rookiefeed is simpler.

The short version

We read CarrierOk's public pages on October 2, 2026. We didn't use a logged-in trial, so features inside the app may exist that we couldn't see. Prices and features change; check their pricing page before you decide.

When CarrierOk is the better pick

When Rookiefeed is the better pick

Same source, different packaging

Both products track the same FMCSA registrations. CarrierOk says new registrants appear the day FMCSA records them, and Rookiefeed sends the new grants every morning. Neither can be fresher than FMCSA itself, so freshness shouldn't decide this.

What should decide it is the job. If your day is underwriting or vetting with some prospecting, CarrierOk's depth is worth it. If your day is calling and emailing carriers that were granted authority yesterday, a complete daily list with the owner's name, equipment and insurer is the part you'll use. See how to choose a new-authority list.

Trying Rookiefeed

Rookiefeed is $59 a month for one state once a week, $149 for one state every day, $299 for up to 8 states and $599 for every state, and you can cancel any time. Build a free list of carriers in your states to compare rows side by side with a CarrierOk trial. For other comparisons, see the TruckerDB alternative page.

Questions

Is CarrierOk better than Rookiefeed?
For carrier vetting, monitoring, safety data, an API or prospecting established carriers, yes: CarrierOk does far more. For a daily list of every newly granted carrier delivered by email with no export caps or seats, Rookiefeed is simpler. Pick by the job you do every day.
How much does CarrierOk cost?
On October 2, 2026 CarrierOk's pricing page listed Pro at $149 a month (1 user, 500 exports), Team at $349 (5 users, 3,000 exports), Business at $499 (10 users, 7,500 exports) and custom Enterprise pricing, with a 14-day trial that requires a card.
Does CarrierOk have a new authority list?
Yes. CarrierOk has a new entrants directory you can filter by state, grant date and authority age, and it separates authority grants from new USDOT registrations. It works as a saved filter in the web app rather than a list delivered to your inbox.
