About Rookiefeed
Rookiefeed is a daily list of US trucking companies that FMCSA granted new for-hire operating authority (an active MC number) the previous day, with the owner's name, phone, email, fleet size, equipment and insurance on file. It arrives by email with a CSV around 7am Central. Plans run $59 to $599 a month depending on how many states you cover and whether you want it daily or weekly. That's about 237 new carriers every business day.
Who makes Rookiefeed
Rookiefeed is built and run by Great Work LLC, a small independent software company that makes data products and apps (greatwork.company). We are not affiliated with FMCSA, USDOT or any factoring company, and we don't sell or share subscriber data.
Why it exists
A new carrier needs a factor, a dispatcher, insurance and a fuel card in its first weeks, and the reps who sell those services race to reach it first. Finding those carriers on your own means checking FMCSA's systems every day and then tracking down who owns each company, how to reach them and who insures them. Rookiefeed does that work every morning so the list is ready before the workday starts.
How the feed is built
Each morning we pick up the carriers FMCSA granted authority to, add owner contact, fleet and insurance details, clean up names and addresses, and flag first-time authorities and cell phones. We recheck the last seven days each run, because FMCSA sometimes records grants late, and each carrier goes to a subscriber once. Right now that's about 237 new carriers per business day.
How the guides and stats are made
Every number on this site is Rookiefeed analysis, recomputed automatically each morning, so the figures change as new carriers are granted authority. The guides are drafted with AI assistance and edited by us; each one cites its sources (FMCSA, the FCC and FTC, and the other pages it relies on) and shows the date it was last reviewed. There are no invented experts or testimonials here. If you spot something wrong, email hello@greatwork.company and we'll fix it.
Carriers on the list
Every record reflects information the carrier filed with FMCSA when it registered. If you're listed and want your record left out of the feed, email hello@greatwork.company with your USDOT number and we'll suppress it within 10 business days. Subscribers agree to follow CAN-SPAM, the TCPA and Do Not Call rules.
