# Carrier IQ alternatives for insurance agents

> Carrier IQ is an all-in-one platform for trucking insurance agents: new-venture leads from Motus data, a CRM, quoting and policy management, from $149 a month for one state. PollyAI is the cheapest per state and tracks renewals, TruckingSignal sells one exclusive agent per state with done-for-you email, CarrierOk adds deep vetting data, and Rookiefeed is a plain daily list of new grants.

## How we compared them

We read each vendor's public pages on October 2, 2026, without logging in to any trial. Where a page didn't say something, we marked it unverified instead of guessing. Features inside the apps may go beyond what's public, and prices change, so check each pricing page before you buy.

## Carrier IQ: the most complete agent workflow

Carrier IQ says it's powered by [Motus](https://rookiefeed.com/glossary/motus) registration data, and it runs the whole agent day: find a [new venture](https://rookiefeed.com/glossary/new-venture), work it in the CRM, build a quote application and manage the policy, with AMS integrations. If you want one tool for your book, it's hard to beat on scope. Two things to know: its new-venture feed mixes new registrations with reinstatements and additional authority, and it says contact details are added "as available". Whether cells are flagged, and exactly which insurance fields you get, we couldn't verify.

## The alternatives, one at a time

- PollyAI: the lowest per-state price ($79 for one state on the State Bundle), insurance expiration dates for renewal prospecting, VIN-decoded equipment and a CRM with email outreach. Its contact coverage wasn't spelled out on the pages we read.
- TruckingSignal: covers the same new FMCSA grants as us, delivered by 7am, with the outreach done for you and an exclusive state. Exclusivity answers the shared-list problem. Pricing isn't published, and its claim of 8,500+ new authorities a month is well above the grant pace other sources report, which we couldn't reconcile.
- CarrierOk: the deepest data here, with safety scores, fraud signals and full insurance history, better for underwriting than prospecting. Pro's 500 exports a month caps how much of a new-authority list you can pull. See [CarrierOk vs Rookiefeed](https://rookiefeed.com/guides/carrierok-vs-rookiefeed).
- Rookiefeed: no CRM, no quoting, no renewals, not exclusive. What it does is send every carrier granted authority yesterday, one row each, with the insurer and [BIPD](https://rookiefeed.com/glossary/bipd) already on file, fleet size, equipment, the owner's name and a first-time flag, as a CSV your current AMS or dialer can take.

## Which one to pick

Whichever you choose, the first insurer matters for new-venture work. In our last 30 days, the most common insurer on newly granted carriers was United Financial Casualty Company, on 12.2% of them. - You want one tool for prospecting, quoting and the book: Carrier IQ.
- You want the lowest monthly cost and renewal dates on established carriers: PollyAI.
- You hate shared lists and want outreach done for you: TruckingSignal, if your state is open.
- You also underwrite or vet carriers: CarrierOk.
- You already have an AMS and just want a clean daily list of new ventures with the first insurer on the row: Rookiefeed.

## Trying Rookiefeed

Rookiefeed is $59 a month for one state once a week, $149 for one state every day, $299 for up to 8 states and $599 for every state, and you can cancel any time. ## Questions

### How much does Carrier IQ cost?

On October 2, 2026 Carrier IQ listed $149 a month for one state ($119 billed annually), $199 for up to 5 states, $249 for up to 10 states and custom pricing beyond that, plus $19 a month per extra user, with no contracts.

### What's the cheapest Carrier IQ alternative?

PollyAI had the lowest published per-state price on October 2, 2026: a $39 platform fee plus $40 per state, so $79 for one state, with a data-only outreach tier from $17 per state. It includes a CRM and insurance expiration dates.

### Which alternative gives an exclusive territory?

TruckingSignal sells one agent per state and sends a 3-email sequence to new authorities in your name before handing you a ranked call list. Its pricing isn't published. Carrier IQ, PollyAI, CarrierOk and Rookiefeed are shared lists.

### Is Carrier IQ the same as the old Carrier IQ phone software?

No. The trucking platform at carrieriq.io is a different company from the Carrier IQ phone diagnostics software that made news in 2011. The shared name is why searches for it turn up unrelated results.
