# The best new MC authority lead lists in 2026

> There's no single best new authority lead list; the right one depends on what you sell. For a daily list of carriers granted MC authority yesterday, look at Rookiefeed (ours) or TruckingSignal. For every new DOT number at a low price, TruckerDB. For vetting plus prospecting, CarrierOk. For an insurance agency CRM, Carrier IQ or PollyAI.

## How we picked and checked them

We make Rookiefeed, so read this knowing that. Every product below sells lists of new trucking companies to people who sell to them. We read each vendor's own public pages on October 9, 2026, without logging in to trials, and wrote down only what those pages say. Where a page doesn't say something, we say so. Prices change; check before you buy.

Carrier-vetting tools that brokers use to check a carrier before a load aren't on this list: they answer whether a carrier is legitimate, not who the new carriers are.

## Rookiefeed: yesterday's new authorities by 7am

Our product. One row per carrier FMCSA granted for-hire authority the day before, about 237 per business day nationally, with officer names, phone with cells flagged, email (99.8% of recent grants), address, fleet size, equipment, the insurer and [BIPD](https://rookiefeed.com/glossary/bipd) coverage on file, days from application to grant and a first-time flag. Plans run $59 (one state weekly) to $599 (every state daily).

Where it falls short: no safety or vetting data, no CRM, no established carriers, and the list isn't exclusive, so other buyers in your state can get the same carriers.

## TruckerDB: every new DOT number, cheapest per row

TruckerDB says it delivers 15,000+ new DOT carrier leads a month to a dashboard at 7am, each with owner name, email, phone, DOT number, for-hire or private and city. Starter is $49 a month; Pro at $99 adds insurance renewal leads for established carriers and more filters.

The catch is what a new DOT number means: many are private or intrastate fleets, or companies that never get [operating authority](https://rookiefeed.com/glossary/operating-authority). If you sell to every new registrant, that's a feature. More in [TruckerDB alternative](https://rookiefeed.com/truckerdb-alternative).

## CarrierOk: prospecting plus vetting

CarrierOk is a carrier-intelligence platform: risk scores, all seven BASICs, 50+ fraud signals, monitoring, a Chrome extension and an API, with a new-registrants directory you filter by state, authority type, fleet size and insurance status. It says new carriers appear the day FMCSA publishes them. Pro is $149 a month with 500 carrier exports, Team $349 with 3,000 and Business $499 with 7,500.

Best when the same team vets and prospects. A national month of new authorities is more than Pro's export cap. More in [CarrierOk vs Rookiefeed](https://rookiefeed.com/guides/carrierok-vs-rookiefeed).

## Carrier IQ and PollyAI: built for insurance agents

Carrier IQ is an agency platform on [Motus](https://rookiefeed.com/glossary/motus) registration data: new ventures (newly registered carriers, reinstatements and additional authority requests) arrive as daily or weekly email alerts, with phone and email as available, plus a CRM, quote applications and policy management. It costs $149 for one state, $199 for up to five and $249 for up to ten, with additional users at $19 a month.

PollyAI pairs a CRM with per-state FMCSA data: insurance expiration dates, VIN-decoded equipment and 24 months of roadside history. It's $39 a month plus $40 per state for the full tier, or from $17 per state for data and bulk email without the CRM. Comparisons: [Carrier IQ alternatives](https://rookiefeed.com/guides/carrier-iq-alternatives) and [PollyAI alternative](https://rookiefeed.com/guides/pollyai-alternative).

## TruckingSignal: one agent per state, done for you

TruckingSignal picks up new FMCSA grants nightly, emails new carriers in your name with an automated sequence, and sends a ranked call list by 7am with [MC number](https://rookiefeed.com/glossary/mc-number), fleet size, days since grant, phone and freight type. Its selling point is exclusivity: one agent per protected territory. Prices aren't published; multi-state discounts run 10% to 20%.

It says it covers 8,500+ new FMCSA authorities a month. We counted 5,591 new [for-hire carrier](https://rookiefeed.com/glossary/for-hire-carrier) grants in the last 30 days, so ask what its number includes (brokers, reinstatements, several authorities per carrier) before comparing volumes.

## Daily DOT Data, Apify actors and Carrier Software

- Daily DOT Data sells the full national FMCSA file plus recent records as CSV: $39 a month Standard, $89 for a custom daily feed, with a 7-day trial that needs no card. Its page says a record's date "can reflect a registration, reactivation, or system update", so it isn't a granted-authority list. On October 9, 2026 its homepage showed a latest FMCSA record date of September 6, 2026; ask for a current sample.
- Apify FMCSA actors are paid scrapers priced per record, $3.50 to $20 per 1,000 on the listings we read, which you schedule and maintain. Cheap at volume if you have someone technical. More in [FMCSA scrapers vs a managed feed](https://rookiefeed.com/guides/fmcsa-scrapers-vs-rookiefeed).
- Carrier Software's DOT Leads is a search tool over a daily-refreshed FMCSA carrier database with 50+ filters, safety data and renewal insights, sold to insurance agencies, insurers and MGAs. Its page doesn't publish prices or say whether new authorities are covered as a separate feed.

## Which list fits which buyer

- Factoring reps: a granted-authority list with a first-time flag (Rookiefeed), or CarrierOk if you also underwrite and vet.
- Truck insurance agents: Carrier IQ or PollyAI if you want the CRM and renewals in one place, TruckingSignal if you want exclusivity and outreach done for you, a daily granted list if you just want the new carriers with the insurer on file.
- Dispatchers: a granted-authority list filtered to one or two trucks, or TruckerDB if price per row matters more than whether the carrier can haul for brokers yet.
- Technical teams: Apify actors or Daily DOT Data files feeding your own pipeline.
- Before you pay anyone, run the five-minute test in [what to look for in a new authority lead list](https://rookiefeed.com/guides/choosing-a-new-authority-lead-list): ask for yesterday's rows in a state you know. Rookiefeed is $59 a month for one state once a week, $149 for one state every day, $299 for up to 8 states and $599 for every state, and you can cancel any time.

## Questions

### What is the best new authority lead list?

It depends on what you sell. Factoring reps and dispatchers usually want carriers granted authority yesterday with owner contacts. Insurance agents often want a CRM and renewal dates too, which Carrier IQ and PollyAI offer. Buyers who want every new DOT number at the lowest price pick TruckerDB.

### What's the cheapest new trucking company lead list?

Per record, the Apify actors at $3.50 to $20 per 1,000 records, if you can run them. Among subscriptions on October 9, 2026: Daily DOT Data at $39, TruckerDB at $49 and PollyAI's Outreach tier from $17 per state. Compare cost per usable row, not headline lead counts.

### Are new authority lead lists exclusive?

Most aren't. Of the products here, only TruckingSignal sells one agent per territory. Every other list, ours included, can go to several buyers in the same state, which is why speed and a useful first call matter.
